Where are you located?  Rev. Wanda is located in Vacaville, CA, but is willing to travel within reason.

 

Who are you ordained with?   Rev. Wanda was ordained by Universal Ministries in 2013. Ordination Ceremonies take place in their church.

 

What is a personalized ceremony?  When I personalize your ceremony, we will utlize information from our conversations to make them unique and different from any other.  We will talk about how you met and about meaningful moments in your relationship. Our conversations will give me a picture of who you are as a couple so that your wedding ceremony will be created just for you.

 

How long is the ceremony?  Depending on which option you choose, ceremonies can last anywhere from 5 minutes to up to 40 minutes long.

 

Where do you perform the ceremony?  Rev. Wanda is located in the 94533 zip code and will travel anywhere within reason.  Please contact us if your outside this area.  

 

My fiancée and I are from different backgrounds, can you help us?  Yes of course, during our consultation, we will ask you qustions about your backgrounds and if there are any special readings, traditions or special text you would like to include.

 

Can we include our children?  Definitely!  Including family is a beautiful addition to your ceremony.

My fiancée is 'unable to appear' can you help us?  Definitely!  If your partner is hospitalized or incarcerated I have no problem assisting in your nuptials. Please contact me directly so we can discuss your situation.

Do you perform same sex ceremonies?  Yes of course, as long is it continues to remain legal in our state! 

 

Do you write the ceremony or do I?  99.99% of the time yes, I will personalize your ceremony based on our conversations.  If you prefer to write your own ceremony, by all means, we are happy to perform it for you; however designing personalized ceremoines is our specialty and joy!

 

Will I be able to read my ceremony prior to the wedding day?  Yes of course!  I strongly encourage that both you and your fiancée review the material.  It is your day after all.  My job is to make your day special reflective of the two of you as a couple.  If you would like to change anything at all, just tell us.  Lets please finalize your ceremony at least 48 hours prior to your event.

 

What is required for my state?  You must obtain a license from the county, before your ceremony.  In order to obtain your license , both parties must appear in person at the county clerks office with ID, both must be over 18.  Be sure to review your state rules on waiting periods and validation.  After the ceremony I will provide you with a copy, (scanned and emailed or copy machine at event site, if possible) and submit the completed license to the county. 

 

What are your requirements?   Once it is decided we are going to work together, a contract will be sent to you and you will need to return it to us with your retainer.  Within 3 months of your ceremony, we will start working on your ceremony.  30 days prior to your event, final payment will be due.  

 

Should I invite the officiant to the reception?  Its not required, please dont feel like you have to add a random guest to your wedding reception.  Once the ceremony is done and all the papers are filled out I usually leave, I may hang around during cocktail hour while signatures/pictures are being obtained. 

 

Are gratuities required?  In the past, many couples have chose some wonderful way to express their gratitude for my services.  These gratuities are not expected, but always greatly appreciated.
